Bus Stop Gazebo Refurbishment
The bus stop gazebo which was vandalized earlier this year has now been repaired and refurbished. The structure now sports new lighting and in lieu of a copper roof, attractive shingles and complimentary siding has updated the look of the structure!
100% Wind Energy
The Board of Directors at their February 23,2010 meeting voted to approve 100% use of wind energy as our communities source of electric power. Currently, Tuvalu purchases power in bulk from PEP CO to power the street lights as well as the Tuvalu Community Center.
Look for more information notifying the community of a separate project, Clean Currents, Clean Energy's "The Green Neighborhood Challenge" where the community would benefit with rebates of $10.00 per home. Funds would be applied to future Green projects for the community
.THE TIVOLI FOUNTAIN As you may have noticed, the Tivoli fountain is once again flowing....The fountain, which is a 3 tier classical Renaissance finial pool fountain, was turned off several years ago as the lower basin was unable to hold water. Due to the generosity and vision of several residents, the fountain's structure was repaired and it has now been restored to its original splendor. The Fountain's revitalization was accomplished using ALL donated labor and funds. The next stage of the restoration will involve the underwater lighting. If anyone is interested in donating their time or expertise, please contact Tivoli.community@verizon.net The fountains restoration celebrates the power of community involvement and commitment to volunteerism.

COMMUNITY CENTER REFURBISHMENT
The Party Room in the Community Center has a new style featuring fresh paint, and new carpeting. The refurbishment included low VOC paints and environmentally friendly carpeting. The space will soon include a gallery style display of photography featuring scenes of Tivoli. Come see our new look and consider us when planning your next event!.
